What this is — and what it isn't
Being honest about the limits of self-report is part of taking it seriously.

Evidence-informed, not clinical
Our items come from the International Personality Item Pool, a public-domain bank of scales used widely in peer-reviewed research. Using research items does not make this a clinical instrument. It is not a diagnosis, medical device, or substitute for professional assessment.
Self-report has limits
You answer about yourself, on one day, in one mood, in one context. Results reflect how you responded, influenced by self-insight, current circumstances and the natural tendency to answer in socially acceptable ways.
Tendencies, not fixed traits
Scores describe patterns that shift over time and across situations. A high or low score is neither good nor bad, and it does not predict what you are capable of.
Never use this to judge others
These assessments must not be used for hiring, selection, screening, custody, educational placement, or any decision affecting another person.
If you are struggling
If your results connect to distress you are living with, please speak to a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number.
